After the martyrdom of Hussain ‎عليه السلام

حدثنا عبد الله قال: حدثني أبي، نا عبد الرحمن، نا حماد بن سلمة، عن عمار هو ابن أبي عمار، عن ابن عباس قال: " §رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في المنام بنصف النهار أشعث أغبر، معه قارورة فيها دم يلتقطه، أو يتتبع فيها شيئا قلت: يا رسول الله، ما هذا؟ قال: دم الحسين وأصحابه لم أزل أتتبعه منذ اليوم قال عمار: فحفظنا ذلك فوجدناه قتل ذلك اليوم عليه السلام ".

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه had a dream on the 10th moharram, in the middle of the day, and said after waking up:

I saw the Prophet  ﷺ in a dream during the day, he was holding a cup of containing blood, I said: Ya Rasool Allah ﷺ, What is this? He replied: The blood of Hussain عليه السلام and his companions.

He later received the news that Saydna Hussain عليه السلام had been martyred on that very day.

Umme Salmah رضیﷲ عنہا reported: 

كان جبريل عليه السلام عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والحسين معي فبكى، فتركته فدنا من النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال جبريل §أتحبه يا محمد؟ فقال: «نعم» فقال: إن أمتك ستقتله، وإن شئت أريتك من تربة الأرض التي يقتل بها، فأراه إياه فإذا الأرض يقال لها كربلاء.

Angel Jibreel عليه السلام was with the Prophet ﷺ and Hussain عليه السلام was with me crying and when I left him, he went to Prophet ﷺ,

Saynda Jibreel asked Prophet ﷺ, Do you love him? He ﷺ replied, Yes! I do love him. 

Then Jibreel عليه السلام said: Your Ummah will kill him and if you want, I can show you the soil of that place where Hussain will gonna get martyred, hence Jibreel عليه السلام showed him ﷺ the place where Hussain عليه السلام got martyred and that place was Karbala.

[Mo'ajjam al Kabir Tabarani 3/114-115 Shaikh Wasiullah Abbas said sanad is Hasan]

Hussain عليه السلام was martyred on the 10 of Moharram in 61 Hijri [ref Tarikh Damishq ibn Asaqir 14/237, majority of the historian said the same] and it was Saturday ref [Tarikh ibn Zuraa al Damishqi with sahih sanad] and some said it was Monday ref [Tarikh Damishq 236/14] By Imam Zubair Ali Zai.

Imam Baqir عليه السلام said: Age of Hussain عليه السلام was 58 when he was martyred.

How and who killed Hussain عليه السلام?

Saad bin Ubaydah (trustworthy tabai) said:

I saw Hussain عليه السلام and he was wearing a cloak, a man named Amr bin Khalid al Tahwi shot an arrow (which hit between the shoulders of Hussain) and stuck in the cloak hanging.

Hajjaj bin Yusuf asked Sinan bin Anas, How you killed Hussain عليه السلام, He replied to Hajjaj: 

دسرته والله بالرمح دسرا وهبرته بالسيف هبرا وما أشركت معي في قتله أحدا

I shoved my spear in his body, and mutilated his body with spear and sword (might be he meant cutting off Hussain's head) and I didn't involve anyone in the killing of Hussain.

Imam Ad Daraqutni رحمہ اللہ said:

سنان بن أنس -النخعي-، الملعون، قاتل الحسين بن علي، عليه السلام، ولعن الله سناناً.

The cursed Sinan bin Anas An Nakhi, the killer of Hussain عليه السلام, May curse of Allah be upon him.

Imam Abu bakr bin Abi Shaybah رحمہ اللہ said:

وقُتل الحسين بن علي سنة إحدى وستين في يوم عاشوراء، وقتله سِنان بن أنس النخعي الوَهْبيلي لعنه الله، وجاء برأسه خَولي بن يزيد الأصبحي إلى عبيد بن زياد. 
Saydna Hussain عليه السلام was martyred in 61 Hijri on the day of Ashura 10th of Moharram, May Allah's curse be upon the killers of him, the Sinan bin Anas Nakhi, wa haybali who killed Hussain and Khwali bin Yazeed presented the severed head of Hussain to Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad.

Shahr bin Haushab narrated that he said: I was with the wife of Prophet ﷺ Sayyidah Umme Salmah رضیﷲ عنہا, and when I informed her about the martyrdom of Hussain عليه السلام after getting the news that Hussain got murdered. She said: What they have done! May Allah fill their homes or graves with fire and after saying this she got fainted because of intimate sadness which struck due to the death of Hussain عليه السلام.

Sayyidah Umme Salmah رضیﷲ عنہا said:

سمعت الجن يبكين على حسين.
I heard the Jinns crying over the death of Hussain عليه السلام.

Tabai Sagheer, Ibrahim bin Yazeed al Nakhii رحمہ اللہ used to say:

If I were among the people who killed Hussain عليه السلام and I would have been forgiven for it and I had granted jannah by Allah and when Prophet ﷺ passes besides me then I would have been ashamed to face prophet Mohammed ﷺ that he sees me۔

[Mo'ajjam al kabir Tabarani 3/112 #2829 Sanad hasan by Imam Zubair Ali Zai]

Imam Hasan Al Basri رحمہ اللہ said: Sixteen men were killed with the Hussain عليه السلام from his family, By Allah, there was no family who faced oppression (Zulm) similar to the family of Hussain عليه السلام at that time. Sufyan Bin Uyayna said: and who doubt this?.

قتل مع الحسين بن علي رضي الله عنه ستة عشر رجلا من أهل بيته، والله ما على ظهر الأرض يومئذ أهل بيت يشبهون.قال سفيان: ومن يشك في هذا؟

The severed head of Hussain عليه السلام and Ibn Ziyad.

Anas bin Malik رضیﷲ عنه said, "The head of Imam Hussain was brought to 'Ubaidullah bin Ziyad and was put in a tray, and then Ibn Ziyad started striking with a stick at the nose and mouth of Al-Husain's head and saying something about his handsome features." Anas then said (to him), "Al-Husain resembled the Prophet more than the others did." Anas added, "His (i.e. Al-Husain's) hair was dyed with Wasma (i.e. a kind of plant used as a dye).

Abu Qabeel رحمہ اللہ said,

لَمَّا قُتِلَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ كَسْفَةً حَتَّى بَدَتِ الْكَوَاكِبُ نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ، حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهَا هِيَ۔

There was a sun eclipse when Hussain عليه السلام was martyred even the stars appeared in the broad day light and we thought it is a night time..

Allama Haythami رحمہ اللہ said it was narrated by Tabarani and the sanad of it is Hasan.

Abu al Wasi رحمہ اللہ said:

نحرت الإبل التي حمل عليها رأس الحسين وأصحابه، فلم يستطيعوا أكلها، كانت لحومها أمر من الصبر

The flesh of the camels which were used to carry the heads of Companions of Hussain عليه السلام and the head of Saydna Hussain عليه السلام were slaughtered to be consumed but they were non consumable because of their bitter taste.

[Tarikh Damishq ibn Asakir 16/231, Tahzeeb al Kamal 6/435, Mo'ajjam al Kabir al Tabarani 3/121, Majma'a al Zawaid 9/196]

Imam Haythami رحمہ اللہ said it has been narrated by Tabarani and all the narrators are trustworthy in Majma'a al Zawaid.

Allah's anger on the killers and haters of Saydna Imam Hussain عليه السلام.

Imam A'mash رحمہ اللہ said:

خَرِئَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ عَلَى قَبْرِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ . قَالَ: فَأَصَابَ أَهْلَ ذَلِكَ الْبَيْتِ خَبْلٌ وجُنُونٌ وَجُذَامٌ وَمَرَضٌ وفَقْرٌ

A man from Banu Asad (a tribe of koofa) threw garbage on the grave of Saydna Imam Hussain عليه السلام then the whole family every one of them were punished by the mental illness, diseases, leprosy and poverty.

Imam Ibn al Jawzi رحمہ اللہ said about it's sanad.

ورجاله رجال الصحيح
The narrators of this narration is from Sahihayn.

[Al Wasim wa al Qawasim fi Zib an Sunnah abi al-Qasim 8/28]

Allama Haythami said the same رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.

A trustworthy Tabai Abu Raj'a al Utarudi رحمہ اللہ said:

Do not say ill things about Ali and Ahle bayt, a man from our neighborhood said ill things about Hussain

[Mo'ajjam al Kabir Tabarani 3/112 #2830 sanad sahih by Imam Zubair Ali Zai]

Killing of Imam Hussain رضیﷲ عنه and the wrath of Allah.

Saydna ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه said:

أَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَى نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنِّي قَتَلْتُ بِيَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا سَبْعِينَ أَلْفَاً ، وَإِنِّي قَاتِلٌ بِابْنِ ابْنَتِكَ سَبْعِينَ أَلْفَاً وَسَبْعِينَ أَلْفَاً 
Allah Azzawajal revealed to Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم that: Indeed I have destroyed seventy thousand people due to the killing of Yahya bin Zakariyya عليه السلام and without any doubt I will destroy seventy thousand people from my wrath for the killing of Hussain رضیﷲ عنه the son of your beloved daughter Fatima رضیﷲ عنها.

Imam Hakim رحمہ اللہ said 
هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
This Hadith is Sahih but shaikhain haven't did takhreej.

Imam Dahabi رحمہ اللہ said:

على شرط مسلم

I state that this hadith is sahih on the condition of Muslim.

Sinan bin Anas, the murderer of Hussain عليه السلام and Tyrant Hajjaj bin Yusuf.

حدثنا العباس حدثنا الأسود بن عامر حدثنا شريك عن بن عمير يعني عبد الملك قا قال الحجاج يوما من كان له بلاء فليقم فلنعطه على بلائه فقام رجل فقال أعطني على بلائي قال وما بلاؤك قال قتلت الحسين قال وكيف قتلته قال دسرته والله بالرمح دسرا وهبرته بالسيف هبرا وما أشركت معي في قتله أحدا قال أما إنك وإياه لن تجتمعا في مكان واحد فقال له اخرج قال وأحسبه لم يعطه شيئا

Once Hajjaj bin Yusuf said: Stand up if anyone who has any kind of problem so that I can give him anything in the return of his problem, Sinan bin Anas Nakhii stood up and said: give me in return of my problem then Hajjaj asked him: what is your problem?

Sinan bin Anas replied: I killed Hussain عليه السلام then Hajjaj asked him, How did you kill Hussain? He answered: I shoved my spear in his body, and mutilated his body with spear and sword (might be he meant cutting of Hussain's head) and I didn't involve anyone in the killing of Hussain,

Hajjaj said to him: As far as you and Hussain is concerned, you and Hussain can not be gather in one place and Hajjaj ordered him to leave, the narrator said: I think Hajjaj didn't give him anything in return as he promised that he will.

-Hajjaj bin Yusuf was a tyrannical ruler and he was famous for his brutality and oppression but when he came across the killer of Hussain عليه السلام, he asked the killer of Hussain to leave his court, that was not expected from a tyrant but as he can't stand and cope with the killer and incident of Hussain عليه السلام he had to ask him to leave.

Having love for one's country in Islam.

It is completely natural that a person loves his nation, motherland, city, street or village, a person is born upon the same that he loves his home and his room and Islam never forbade this kind of love and it is valid and appropriate to show the love which someone has for his beloved country. 

Anas bin Malik رضیﷲ عنه said

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى جُدُرَاتِ المَدِينَةِ، أَوْضَعَ 
رَاحِلَتَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ حَرَّكَهَا مِنْ حُبِّهَا ۔

When the Prophet ﷺ returned from a journey and looked at the walls of Madina he made his camel hasten, and if he was on a horse (Dabba. This word is used for either a horse or a mule, and although it is feminine it is used for either male or female) he urged it on through love of Medina.

Imam Ibn Hajar رحمہ اللہ said and explained this hadith

وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ دِلَالَةٌ عَلَى فَضْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَعَلَى مَشْرُوعِيَّة حب الوطن والحنين إِلَيْهِ.

Firstly this hadith proves the virtues of the city Madina secondary it proves that one can has love for his motherland and yearn for it.

[Fath ar Rabbani Sharah Sahih al Bukhari 3/621]

Imam ibn Battal رحمہ اللہ said:

وقد جبل الله النفوس على حب الأوطان والحنين إليها، وفعل ذلك عليه السلام، وفيه أكرم الأسوة

Indeed, Allah created the human with the soul who has love and passion for his country, this was the way of the Prophet ﷺ and he is the best example.

[Sharah Sahih Al Bukhari 4/555]

When Prophet ﷺ was forced to leave his motherland Makkah in the initial stage of Islam, he said: 

مَا أَطْيَبَكِ مِنْ بَلَدٍ وَأَحَبَّكِ إِلَىَّ وَلَوْلاَ أَنَّ قَوْمِي أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْكِ مَا سَكَنْتُ غَيْرَكِ.

How sweet of a land you are and how dear you are to me, and if it were not that my people expelled me from you, I would not have lived in other than you.

[Sunan Tirmidhi 3925, Mishkat al Masabih 2725 Sahih by Imam Zubair Ali Zai]

A hadith, which is a lie attributed on Prophet on ﷺ commonly spread and shared occasionally that Prophet ﷺ said: حب الوطن من الْإِيمَان. 

Loving one's country is part of the faith.

This hadith is not proven and this is not even a hadith.

Imam Suyuti رحمہ اللہ said حُبُّ الْوَطَنِ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ" لم أقف عليه.

I couldn't find this hadith [Al Durr Muntatharah 190]

Imam Al Albani رحمہ اللہ also said the hadith is (موضوع) fabricated

Contrary to that many of the people fall in ghulu (exaggeration) in nationalism they look down upon muslims or people from other countries and feel superiority over them just because of the nation they living in. This is not the teaching of Islam and Prophet ﷺ forbade us that no man is superior to other except the righteousness and piousness whether he is black, white, brown or Indian, American or Rich and poor all are same in the eyes of Allah and we also have no rights to deem anyone superior or inferior to us..

Nationalism is severe sin and ignorance in Islam.

The Arabic word, Al-'Asabiyyah (nationalism/tribalism), is derived linguistically from the word Al-'Asab, which means holding or encompassing. As for its meaning in Islamic terminology, it was defined by the Prophet, ﷺ, when he was asked: "Is it tribalism for a man to love his people?, and he said: ''No, nationalism is to support your people in an injust cause." [Ahmad] Moreover, Bint Waathilah Ibn Al-Asqa', may Allaah be pleased with her, narrated that she heard her father saying: "I said: 'O Prophet of Allaah, what is nationalism?’ He, ﷺ, replied: 'It is to help your people in an injust cause.’''

Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ said: The caution, here, is for a man to be prejudice toward his sect based on Jaahiliyyah cause only. Nonetheless, supporting one's nation or sect in a just cause without any transgression is something good, and its ruling could either be an obligation or something recommended according to the situation.'

In a beautiful hadith Prophet ﷺ said:

مَنْ خَرَجَ مِنَ الطَّاعَةِ وَفَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ فَمَاتَ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً وَمَنْ قَاتَلَ تَحْتَ رَايَةٍ عُمِّيَّةٍ يَغْضَبُ لِعَصَبَةٍ أَوْ يَدْعُو إِلَى عَصَبَةٍ أَوْ يَنْصُرُ عَصَبَةً فَقُتِلَ فَقِتْلَةٌ جَاهِلِيَّةٌ وَمَنْ خَرَجَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي يَضْرِبُ بَرَّهَا وَفَاجِرَهَا وَلاَ يَتَحَاشَ مِنْ مُؤْمِنِهَا وَلاَ يَفِي لِذِي عَهْدٍ عَهْدَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ

Whoever rejects lawful obedience to the leader and divides the community and dies in this state will have died upon ignorance. Whoever fights under the banner of one who is blind, raging for the sake of nationalism, or calling to nationalism, or supporting nationalism, and is killed in this state will have died upon ignorance. Whoever rebels against my Ummah, striking the righteous and wicked alike and sparing not even the believers and does not fulfill the pledge of security, then he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.

Is the title "Ameerul Momineen" is praise and admiration for a caliph or king according to Scholars and Mohaddiseen?

Some people try to prove and distinguish among the laymen that title "Ameerul Momineen" was used in the praise of Yazeed just to satisfy their desires with the support of irrelevant arguments.

Following are the clarification that title "Ameerul Momineen" is used only to refer someone's designation, it is significant to that only and it doesn't prove anyone's praise.

Al Mu'tasim billah Abu Ishaq Mohammad Haroon Rashid al Abbasi (227AH)

This Abbasid caliph claimed that Qur'an was the creation of Allah and anyone who goes against his claim he punished or oppressed him.

Imam Ibn Saeed al Baghdadi writes in the translation of Al Imam Ahlus sunnah Abu Abdullah Ahmad ibn Hanbal (230Ah)

«أحمد بن محمد بن حنبل، رضي اللّٰه عنه ويكنى أبا عبد اللّٰه. وهو ثقة ثبت صدوق كثير الحديث، وقد كان امتحن وضرب بالسياط، أمر بضربه "أبو إسحاق أمير المؤمنين" على أن يقول القرآن مخلوق فأبى أن يقول...».

Abu Abdullah Ahmad ibn Hanbal was a trustworthy and reliable narrator he narrated lots of hadith, indeed he was tested with trials and he was ordered to be killed by Abu Ishaq "Ameer ul Momineen" because he wanted to make Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal to accept that the Qur'an is the creation of Allah but he refused to do so.

[Tabaat al Kubra 7/354]

See, the above mentioned text that he used "Ameerul Momineen" for a person who's a oppressor and inviting on deviated in belief, now it is known that "Ameerul Momineen" title is used for position or designation not in the praise.

Likewise, Mohammad bin Saeed al Baghdadi writes under the translation of Qadhi Abul Waleed Bashir bin al Walid bin Khalid al Kundi al Baghdadi (238Ah).

«بشر بن الوليد الكندي، روى عن أبي يوسف القاضي كتبه وإملاءه، وروى عن شريك وحماد بن زيد ومالك بن أنس وصالح المري وغيرهم، وروى عن محمد ابن طلحة، وولي القضاء ببغداد في الجانبين جميعًا، وكان يحدث ويفتي الناس ببغداد، وسعى به رجل فقال: إنه لا يقول القرآن مخلوق، فأمر به أمير المؤمنين أبو إسحاق أن يحبس في منزله، فحبس في منزله ووكل ببابه الشرط ونهي أن يفتي أحدًا بشيء، فلما ولي جعفر بن أبي إسحاق الخلافة أمر بإطلاقه وأن يفتي الناس ويحدثهم، فبقي حتى كبرت سنه وتكلم بالوقف فأمسك أصحاب الحديث عنه وتركوه».

Bashir bin Walid Kundi, he reported narrationsn from Qadhi Abu Yusuf, wrote it, and acted upon it and also took narrations from Shareek, Hammad bin Zayd, Malik ibn Anas and Saleh al Marri etc furthermore he also reported narrations from Mohammad bin Talha and he was appointed as a Judge towards Baghdad and he used to give verdict to the people of Baghdad, once a man complained that he do not consider Qur'an is the creation so "Ameerul Momineen" Abu Ishaq ordered to imprison him in his house and banned him from giving any verdict to the people and when Jafar bin Abu Ishaq got hold of the throne of caliphate he ordered him to be set free from imprisonment and allowed him to pass the verdicts to the people and teach the hadith and he reached old age doing the same and he left the issue of Qur'an is creation so his companions stopped themselves from gathering hadith from him and left him.

Do you really think that Imam ibn Saeed رحمہ اللہ will use a prefix "Ameer ul Momineen" out of praise and admiration with the name of a person who had a belief that Qur'an is created, it is evident that it is due to the position not due to praise or admiration.

Ibn Saeed Baghdadi رحمہ اللہ writes about Abu Sulayman bin Abdullah ar Rabi al Damishqi (379Ah)

وفي هذه السنة مات أمير المؤمنين المعتصم باللّٰه بسامرا ليلة الأحد للنصف من شهر ربيع الأول وبويع ابنه هارون الواثق باللّٰه.

In the same year, "Ameer ul Momineen", Mu'tasim billah died in the mid of Rabi al awal on Sunday night at in Samara and his son Haroon Wathiq billah got pledge of allegiance.

He writes under Abi bakr Ahmad bin Ali bin Thabit al Khatib al Baghdadi (463Ah)

«محمد أمير المؤمنين، المعتصم باللّٰه بن هارون الرشيد بن محمد المهدي بن عبد اللّٰه المنصور بن محمد بن علي بن عبد اللّٰه بن العباس بن عبد المطلب، يكنى أبا إسحاق».

Mohammad "Ameerul Momineen", Al Mu'tasim billah bin Haroon Ar Rashid Mohammed bin Al Mahdi bin Abdullah bin Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Al Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib, yukni Abu Ishaq.

[Tarikh al Baghdad 3/342]

Ibn Sa'eed al Baghdadi رحمہ اللہ writes under the Abu Abdullah Mohammad bin Ahmad bin Uthman Ad Dhahabi (748Ah).

محمد المعتصم باللّٰه، أمير المؤمنين، أبو إسحاق بن هارون الرشيد ابن المهدي الهاشمي العباسي

Mohammad al Mu'tasim billah Ameerul Momineen Abu Ishaq Bin Haroon ar Rashid ibn Mahdi al Hashmi al Abbasi [Tarikh al Islam 5/692]

Now it got clear that the title Ameerul Momineen doesn't mean praise and admiration but it refers to the glory of the throne possessed by a person.

Did the people of Kufa ‎(Iraq) ‏kill Hussain ‎عليه السلام ‏and his allies?

The group of Yazeed lovers always defend Yazeed to the extent that it gets impossible for a sane man to believe what actually had happened at Karbala, they shove all the garbage and accusations to the Kufan people who invited Hussain عليه السلام and try to set free the Yazeed and his army like they were peacemakers and wished aafiyah for Saydna Imam Hussain.

Shaikh Kifayatullah stated in his book "The people of Iraq and Kufi were responsible for killing Hussain, Yazeed and his army had no part in it never involved in it" [ Yazeed bin Muawiya par ilzamat ka Jaizah pg. 329]

They can do whatever they want and however they want but reality will remain the same without any distortion that Kufans invited him and Yazeed's army killed Hussain and his allies under the command of Ibn Ziyad lanatullah.

Shaikh Kifayatullah tried to prove his point that Kufans killed Hussain from a narration under the 5th stage of incident of Karbala in his book "Hadisa Karbala aur Sabayi Sazish", the narration speaks of the Hurr bin Yazeed's words or statement which he said to kufans.

يا أهل الكوفة لأمكم الهبل، أدعوتم الحسين إليكم حتى إذا أتاكم أسلمتموه وزعمتم أنكم قاتلوا أنفسكم دونه، ثم عدوتم عليه لتقتلوه
Woe to you! O people of Kufa! You invite Hussain and when he comes to you then you leave him helpless, have you ever cared to fight for Hussain then you attacked him to kill.

This narration proves that people of Kufa invited Hussain for help and Hussain went to them as got invitation but according to Shaikh Kifayatullah, Hussain went to kufa not for their help or invitation but to stop them from going against the regime of Yazeed, so how come shaikh had derived his manhaj from this?

Other thing which is stated in the narration that Kufans left the Hussain عليه السلام helpless means they never helped him and never protected him, but from whom? if there's no involvement of the Yazeed's regime in the killing of Hussain then from whom Hurr bin Yazeed expecting protection?

And what about Ibn Ziyad who commanded to Murder Hussain عليه السلام and his allies 

Imam at Tabari رحمہ اللہ reported with SANAD SAHIH:

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنِي سعد بن عبيدة، قَالَ: إنا لمستنقعون فِي الماء مع عُمَر بن سَعْد، إذ أتاه رجل فساره وَقَالَ لَهُ: قَدْ بعث إليك ابن زياد جويرية بن بدر التميمي، وأمره إن لم تقاتل القوم أن يضرب عنقك، قَالَ: فوثب إِلَى فرسه فركبه، ثُمَّ دعا سلاحه فلبسه، وإنه عَلَى فرسه، فنهض بِالنَّاسِ إِلَيْهِم فقاتلوهم، فجيء برأس الْحُسَيْن إِلَى ابن زياد، فوضع بين يديه، فجعل ينكت بقضيبه، ويقول: إن أبا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَدْ كَانَ شمط

Sa'ad bin Abu Ubaydah said a man came to Umar bin Sa'ad when we were taking a bath with him, and he whispered in the ears of Umar bin Sa'ad and said, "𝗜𝗯𝗻 𝘇𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘄𝗮𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗶 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻 رضیﷲ عنه 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳, after hearing this Umar bin Sa'ad rushed for the horses prepared his weapon and left with his army men to fight with Hussain رضیﷲ عنه and he fought with them (when Hussain رضیﷲ عنه got killed) he presented the severe head of Hussain رضیﷲ عنه to ibn ziyad (Laeen) by saying Abu Abdullah Hussain رضیﷲ عنه lost his hair (Nauzubillah).

This is just a part of a narration and the sanad of the narration is as follows:

حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ

Shaikh Arshad Kamal said Sanad is "Sahih" in [Risalaha Noorul Hadith January pg. 22]

Shaikh Kifayatullah Sanabali also declared the narrators of this chain as thiqa ref to his  book [Yazeed bin Muawiya par ilzamaat ka jayeza " pg.350-364]

Truth is evident from authentic historical reports that Kufans invited Hussain and Army of Yazeed Killed Hussain عليه السلام, both of the groups have blood stains on their hands. May Allah deal with them Aameen.

Murderer of Hussain ‎

The Imam of Jarah wa Tadeel, Imam Ibn Ma'yeen was asked about a man if he's (Thiqa) trustworthy or not?

So Imam Ibn Ma'yeen رحمہ اللہ replied:

كيف يكون من قتل الحسين ثقه

How can be a person (Thiqa) trustworthy when he's a murderer of Hussain عليه السلام?

The moment which made Saydna Umar ‎رضیﷲ عنه ‏happy on the day of Eid.

Imam Ad Dhahabi رحمہ اللہ said:

أَنَّ عُمَرَ كَسَا أَبْنَاءَ الصَّحَابَةِ؛ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي ذَلِكَ مَا يَصلُحُ لِلْحَسَنِ وَالحُسَيْنِ؛ فَبَعثَ إِلَى اليَمَنِ، فَأُتِي بِكِسْوَةٍ لَهُمَا

Saydna Umar ibn al Khattab رضیﷲ عنه dressed the children of other Sahaba رضیﷲ عنهم with new clothes during his caliphate, but there were no clothes that could suit or adore Saydna Hassan and Hussain عليهم السلام.

Saydna Umar then sent a man to Yemen and he brought some fine and beautiful clothes and when Saydna Umar dressed Hassan and Hussain with those Yemeni clothes he said:
 
الآنَ طَابَتْ نَفْسِي
Now, my heart is happy.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 ‎رضیﷲ عنه ‏𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 ‎"𝗭𝘂𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗻" (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀).

Trustworthy and reliable Mohaddis Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Abaan al Ju'afi (d. 239 AH) said that my maternal uncle Hussain al Ju'afi asked me: Son! do you know why Usman رضیﷲ عنه was called "Zun Noorayn"?

I told him that I don't know about it.

He then said to me: 

 يجمع بين ابنتي نبي مذ خلق الله آدم إلى أن تقوم الساعة غير عثمان بن عفان فلذلك سمي ذا النورين

Allah عزوجل never let anyone marry two daughters of the same prophet from the creation of Adam عليه السلام till the judgement day except Saydna Usman عليه السلام. So this is why, he has given the title of "Zun Noorayn" (The keeper of two lights).

Prophet Mohammed صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had 4 daughters Sayyidah Fatima, Sayyidah Ruqaiyah, Sayyidah Umme Kulthum, and Sayyidah Zainab.

Prophet Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم married his two daughters Sayyidah Umme Kulthum and Sayyidah Ruqaiyah to Saydna Usman and he married his daughter Sayyidah Fatima to Saydna Ali.

Punishment for the abuser of Saydna Usman ‎عليه السلام

Imam al Aasim al Ahwal رحمہ اللہ who also appointed as judge (Qadhi) in maiden city said:

 أتيت بِرَجُل قد سبّ عُثْمان فضربته عشرَة أسواط قالَ ثمَّ عاد لما ضَربته فضربته عشرَة أُخْرى فَلم يزل يسبه حَتّى ضَربته سبعين سَوْطًا

A man brought before me, who said ill things and reviled Saydna Usman رضیﷲ عنه, I whipped him 10 lashes, then he abused again and I whipped him with 20 lashes more and he continued to do the sams until I whipped him with 70 lashes.

Imam Yahya ibn Ma'yeen رحمہ اللہ said regarding the Rafidhi Koofi Taleed bin Sulayman Muharbi.
تليد كَذّاب كانَ يشْتم عُثْمان وكل من يشْتم عُثْمان أو طَلْحَة أو أحدا من أصْحاب النَّبِي ﷺ دجال لا يكْتب عَنهُ وعَلِيهِ لعنة الله والمَلائِكَة والنّاس أجْمَعِينَ
He was a liar, he used to abuse Usman رضیﷲ عنه, anyone who abuse Saydna Usman, Saydna Talha or any companion of prophet Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم is a Dajjal, no hadith will be taken from him, and curse of Allah, his angels and whole humanity be upon him.

[Tarikh ibn Ma'yeen ba riwayah ad Da'ori 3/546]

This same Taleed bin Sulayman Rafidhi was sitting on the roof with some people, and when Usman رضیﷲ عنه was mentioned he started to revile him, a man pushed him off the roof and broke his leg and due to this he became crippled from his leg and he used to walk with crutches all of his life

Lover of the beloved of Allah.

Whenever Imam Masrooq رحمہ اللہ would report a hadith from Sayyida Ayesha رضیﷲ عنہا he says:
حدثتني الصديقة بنت الصديق حبيبة حبيب الله المبرأة

The hadith is narrated by the Siddiqa binte Siddiq Ayesha, the lover of the beloved prophet of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم for whom Allah revealed the verses in her defense.

Fatwa mongering.

Saydna Ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه said:
 مَنْ أَفْتَى بِفُتْيَا يَعْمَى فِيهَا فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهَا عَلَيْه

The one who issues a verdict (fatwa) which is based upon deviancy or it may deceive, then the sin will be upon the giver of the verdict (fatwa).

 [Jami bayan al Ilm by ibn Abd Al Barr #1010] sanad Hasan, Imam Zubair Ali Zai رحمہ اللہ

Allama Ibn al Qayyim رحمہ اللہ said:

مَنْ أَفْتَى النَّاسَ وَلَيْسَ بِأَهْلٍ لِلْفَتْوَى فَهُوَ آثِمٌ عَاصٍ،

Whoever issues a verdict to the people, whilst he is laysa bi ahlil fatwa (ie: not qualified to do so), then he is sinful and disobedient,

وَمَنْ أَقَرَّهُ مَنْ وُلَاةِ الْأُمُورِ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ آثِمٌ أَيْضًا.

And whoever establishes him as a Mufti from the leaders, then he is also sinful.

What if you're feeling sleepy during Juma'h?

Ibn Umar رضیﷲ عنه reported that Prophet Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:

إِذَانَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ
When one of you becomes sleepy during the Friday prayer, then let him move from where he is sitting

Imam As Shawkani رحمہ اللہ said: the wisdom behind it that it will wipe out his sleepiness.

Covering the head of men in prayer.

Mohammad bin Al Munkadir said I went to Jabir bin Abdullah رضیﷲ عنه and he was praying wrapped in a garment and his Rida was Lying beside him. When he finished the prayers, I said "O `Abdullah! You pray (in a single garment) while your Rida' is lying beside you (not covering your head with it). 

He replied: نَعَمْ، أَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ يَرَانِي الْجُهَّالُ مِثْلُكُمْ، رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي هَكَذَا‏.‏

Yes, I did it intentionally so that the ignorant ones like you might see me. I saw the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم praying like this.

[Sahih al Bukhari #370]

Prophet Mohammed صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:  لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاةَ حَائِضٍ إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ 

The Prophet  صلی اللہ علیہ وسلمsaid: Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached puberty unless she wears a veil.

If it was important to cover the head for a man in prayer then the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم would have said the same for a man or commanded to do the same.

-BARELVI SCHOOL OF THOUGHT
Ahmad Raza Barelvi was asked: What is the ruling of Ahle Shariyah that some people perform the prayer without covering their heads and say we do this out of humility? is it valid or is it disliked in prayer?

Then Ahmad Raza Barelvi gives the fatwa and answer: If the person do this out of humility then there's no issues (i.e. a man can pray without covering his head).

-DEOBAND SCHOOL OF THOUGHT
Question: It is written in a book that a person who stand before Allah and pray without covering his head to show humility then there's no issue?

Mawlana Mufti Azizur Rahman Usmani replies: This is also mentioned in our books of jurisprudence as mentioned above that if it is out of humility then there's no issue and it not disliked it is written in book of fiqah Durr al Mukhtari لا باس به للتزلل there's no problem doing that.

It is better to cover the head in salah but if a man doesn't find something to cover his head then there's no issue his prayer will be valid as it is valid when his head is covered.
