Malak-ul-Maut aur Suleman عليه السلام ka Qissa

Shahr Ibn Hawshab , Imam of Salaf (tabeein)  kehte hai :-


دَخَلَ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ عَلَى سُلَيْمَانَ عليه السلام فَجَعَلَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ جُلَسَائِهِ؛ يُدِيمُ النَّظَرَ إِلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قَالَ الرَّجُلُ: مَنْ هَذَا؟قَالَ: هَذَا مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ. قَالَ: لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيَّ كَأَنَّهُ يُرِيدُنِي!قَالَ: فَمَا تُرِيدُ؟قَالَ: أُرِيدُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَنِي الرِّيحُ، فَتُلْقِيَنِي بِالْهِنْدِ!قَالَ: فَدَعَا بِالرِّيحِ، فَحَمَلَهُ عَلَيْهَا، فَأَلْقَتْهُ بِالْهِنْدِ.ثُمَّ أَتَى مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ سُلَيْمَانَ عليه السلام فَقَالَ: إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ تُدِيمُ النَّظَرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ جُلَسَائِي؟ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَعْجَبَ مِنْهُ؛ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَقْبِضَ رُوحَهُ بِالْهِنْدِ، وَهُوَ عِنْدَكَ


Maut ka farishta Ek dafa Insani bhes(shaqal) me Suleman عليه السلام ki majlis me dakhil hua aur ek shaqs ko dekhta raha , jab Malak-ul-Maut waha se chala gya uss shaqs ne Sulaiman عليه السلام se pucha yeh kon tha ? Suleman عليه السلام ne jawab diya yeh :- "Malak-ul-Maut tha."


Us shaqs ne kaha ke woh muje kafi der tak iss tarah dekh raha tha jaise abhi meri rooh qabz karle.


Sulaiman عليه السلام ne pucha tum ab kiya chahte ho ? Us shaqs ne kaha :- me chahta hu ke yeh hawayein muje kahi dur daraz ilaqe me lejaye , "hind ki aur."


Suleman عليه السلام ne hukm diya aur usko hind ki aur le jaya gayaa



Fir Malak-ul-Maut wapas Sulaiman عليه السلام ke pass aya,  Sulaiman عليه السلام ne usse puchha : tum us shaqs ko ghoor kyu rahe the ?


Malak-ul-Maut ne jawab diya :- me usse yaha dekh kar hairat me tha  , muje hukm hua tha ke me uski rooh "Hind" me qabz karu ,lekin woh yaha apke pass betha hua tha.


(Isse Imam Ahmed me Kitab-az-zuhd me 222 naqal kiya).


Uska bhagna hi usse apne maut ki taraf le gya. 


Mutlub : Maut se koi nhi bacha jaise Allah. سبحانه وتعالى quran me farmata hai :- 


اَیۡنَ مَا تَکُوۡنُوۡا یُدۡرِکۡکُّمُ الۡمَوۡتُ وَ لَوۡ کُنۡتُمۡ  فِیۡ  بُرُوۡجٍ مُّشَیَّدَۃٍ


tum jahan bhi hogay ( aik naa aik din ) moat tumhen ja-pakray gi , chahye tum mazboot qalon mein kiyon naa reh rahey ho 


(Quran 4:78)


Note :- Salaf ke daur me basrah (iraq ke shahar ) usse Hind kaha jata tha.


Yaha Hind se Murad kiya hai mere ilm me nhi

Love for Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.

Abdullah ibn Hisham رضیﷲ عنه narrated that We were with the RASOOLALLAH صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and he was holding the hand of Umar ibn al Khattab رضیﷲ عنه. Umar رضیﷲ عنه said to him,

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لأَنْتَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلا نَفْسِي 


“Ya Rasoolallah, you are more beloved to me than everything but myself☆”


The RASOOLALLAH صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, 

لا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ 


“No, by the one in whose hand is my soul, until I am more beloved to you than yourself☆”


Umar رضیﷲ عنه said, “Indeed, I swear by ALLAH that you are more beloved to me now than myself.”


The RASOOLALLAH صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم replied, “Now you are right, O Umar☆”

Umar ibn Khattab رضیﷲ عنه said  In the time of the Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, there was a man named Abdullah who was nicknamed Donkey, and he would make the Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم laugh☆


Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم lashed him for drinking wine, and one day the man was brought again and the Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ordered him to be lashed. Another man among the people said, “O Allah, curse him! How many times has he been brought?” 


The Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said,

 لَا تَلْعَنُوهُ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ إِنَّهُ يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

 “Do not curse him. By Allah, I know that he loves ALLAH and his RASOOL صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.”

Abu Huraira رضیﷲ عنه narrated that The MOHAMMAD صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:


مِنْ أَشَدِّ أُمَّتِي لِي حُبًّا نَاسٌ يَكُونُونَ بَعْدِي يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ رَآنِي بِأَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ


Among the strongest in love for me in my nation are some people who will come after me. One of them would wish to see me, even in place of his family and his wealth☆

Disbeliever Jinns who used to abuse Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم were killed by Momin Jinns.

The scholars have mentioned that the Momin Jinns used to kill the disbeliever Jinns who used to abuse the Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, this happened before the Hijrah and when the revelation of killing of Jinns and Humans were not revealed, Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to support and thanks to those who do this.


Saad bin yahya narrated in his Maghazi with the chain of Mohammad bin saeed that he heard from Munkadir that ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه said:


A jinn climbed Mount Abu Qabees and recited a few verses of the poem and it got spread in Makkah.


The Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:

هذا شيطان يكلم الناس من الأوثان يقال له مسعر والله مخزيه"


It is the devil who has recited these verses about idols. His name is Mas'ar. May Allah humiliate him. Just three days had passed when someone on this mountain was reciting this poem:

نحن قتلنا في ثلاث مسعرا سفه الحق وسن المنكرا

قنعته سيفا حساما مبترا بشتمه نبيا المطهرا


We have killed Mas'aar in three days, He despised the Haqq and cast it with evil and I have shaded him with sharp razor because he used to abuse our beloved Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم 


Then Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said 

هذا عفريت من الجن اسمه سمحج آمن بي سميته عبد الله أخبرني أنه في طلبه منذ ثلاثة أيام فقال علي: جزاه الله خيرا يا رسول الله.


This was a rebellious jinn whose name was Sam'haj, I named him Abdullah. He told me that I have been looking for that poet for three days. Hazrat Ali رضیﷲ عنه said: Ya Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, May Allah reward him with goodness.

Send gifts to the deceased.

 Sayyidna Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:


"إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَرْفَعُ الدَّرَجَةَ لِلْعَبْدِ الصَّالِحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَقُولُ: يَا رَبِّ، أَنَّى لِي هَذِهِ؟ 

فَيَقُولُ: بِاسْتِغْفَارِ وَلَدِكَ لَكَ!"


Indeed, Allah exalt the ranks of a righteous in Jannah, a man asked: Ya Rabb: What's the reason behind this reward?


Allah swt said: This is the reward as your son ask forgiveness for you.

Wife of Muarrikh Taqiuddin Al Maqrizi رحمہ اللہ died in young age, He رحمہ اللہ writes about her 


"... وكنت أكثر الاستغفار لها فأُريتُها في المنام، فقلت لها:

 يا أم محمد! الذي أرسله إليكِ يصل -أي الاستغفار- ؟

! قالت: نعم، في كل يوم تصل هديتك إليَّ. ثم بكت وقالت: قد علمتَ أني عاجزة عن مكافأتك!"

I asked for forgiveness for her excessively and one day I saw her in my dream and asked her:


Ya Umme Mohammad! Do you receive whatever I send to you (Meaning Astaghfaar for her)?


So she replied: Yes! your gifts reaches me everyday and then she started crying and said, you know I am not able to repay you for this gift.

Was the Green color favourite of Mohammad ‎صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم?

Some people believe that the Green color is the favourite color of Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and to back this claim they qoute this Narration that Qatada bin Da'aama رحمہ اللہ reported from Saydna Anas رضیﷲ عنه that he said: 
كَانَ أَحَبَّ الْأَلْوَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْـخُضْرَةُ.

"Green was the most favourite color of Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم"

-(Musnad Ash shamiyeen (4/15)

The sanad of this narration is weak "Saeed bin basheer" is Daeef according to majority and Imam Bukhari (Tareekh ul kabeer 3/460), Zuafa As Sageer 132), Abu Zura'a (Az Zuafa 116) Abu Mas'har in (Al Maarifah wa Tareekh lil fasawi 2/124), Imam Nasai in (Az Zuafa 246) etc. made jarah on him and declared him zaeef

Haafiz ibn al Malkan رحمہ اللہ said اَلْـأَكْثَرُوْنَ عَلَى تَضْعِيْفِهِ, Majority of Mohaddiseen declared him Zaeef.

And Imam ibn hibban رحمہ اللہ made jarah mufassar on his Narration from Imam Qatada رحمہ اللہ

Moreover, this narration is reported by two other narrators from Imam Qatada رحمہ اللہ and following are the details of it 

1. (Abu Hatim suwayd bin Ibrahime al Jahdari al Atar 3/261)

But Suwayd bin Ibrahim is also zaeef according to majority of Mohaddiseen.

Allama Haythami رحمہ اللہ said: ضَعَّفَهُ الْـجُمْهُوْرُ Majority of Mohaddiseen declared him Zaeef 
-(Majmoa al Zawaid 8/23)

Imam Ibn Adi رحمہ اللہ made jarah on his Narration from Imam Qatada رحمہ اللہ specifically
-(Al Kaamil fi Zuafa ar rijaal 4/489)

This narration has other errors too that this narration is narrated by Abu yaqoob Is'haq bin idrres aswari basri from Suwayd bin Ibrahim and to this Imam bukhari in (Tareekh ul kabeer 1/382, At tareekh al awsat 2/318), Abu Zura'a in (Al jarah wa tadeel 2/213), Nasak in (Az Zuafa Wal Matrukeen 46) Daraqutni in (Az Zuafa wal Matrukeen 89) etc made jarah on him.

Although Imam Yahya bin Maeen رحمہ اللہ said about him that یضع الحدیث۔ he used to fabricate narrations

And also declared him کذاب Liar (4677)

And there is also a Jarah Mufassir that Imam Abu Zura'a رحمہ اللہ said:
Ishaq bin idrees narrated Munkar from Suwayd bin Ibrahim and Abu Muawiya.

2. Abu bakr Salmi bin Abdullah al hazli al Basri
-(Shuab ul imaan lil Bayhaqi 8/342)

Abu bakr Al hazli is an extremely weak and Matrook narrator.

Imam Abu Zura'a, Abu Hatim, Imam Shuaba, Imam Yahya bin Saeed, Mohammad bin Jafar gandar (Al jarah wa tadeel la ibn Hatim 4/313) Imam Bukhari (Tareekh Kabir 4/198) Daraqutni (As sunan #120) Bazzaar (Kashf al astaar Lil Haythami 1/460), etc made jarah on him.

Imam Ibn Hibban رحمہ اللہ said: He reports fabricated narrations in the relation to Thiqa narrators

Hafiz Shamsuddeen Zahbi رحمہ اللہ said:
There's an ijma (consensus) of Mohaddiseen that he's Zaeef

Yazeed and opinions of four Madhab


سُئِلَ شَيخنَا رَحمَه الله عَن لعن يزِيد بن مُعَاوِيَة وماذا يَتَرَتَّب على من يُحِبهُ وَيرْفَع من شَأْنه فَأجَاب أما اللَّعْن فَنقل فِيهِ الطَّبَرِيّ الْمَعْرُوف بالكيا الهراسي الْخلاف فِي الْمذَاهب الْأَرْبَعَة فِي الْجَوَاز وَعَدَمه فَاخْتَارَ الْجَوَاز وَنقل الْغَزالِيّ الْخلاف وَاخْتَارَ الْمَنْع وَأما الْمحبَّة فِيهِ وَالرَّفْع من شَأْنه فَلَا تقع إِلَّا من مُبْتَدع فَاسد الِاعْتِقَاد فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ فِيهِ من الصِّفَات مَا يَقْتَضِي سلب الْإِيمَان عَمَّن يُحِبهُ لِأَن الْحبّ فِي الله والبغض فِي الله من الْإِيمَان وَالله الْمُسْتَعَان

Shaikh al Islam Hafiz Ibn hajar Asqalani رحمہ اللہ was asked regarding cursing Yazeed and what is the ruling on the person who praises, shows gratitude and love Yazeed.

Hafiz Ibn hajar رحمہ اللہ replied.
Imam Tabari رحمہ اللہ mentioned difference of opinion regarding cursing Yazeed upon four Madhab on the permissibility and non permissibility, he had an opinion on the permissibility and Imam Ghazali رحمہ اللہ mentioned against his opinion and had an opinion of non permissibility.

As far as Having love for Yazeed to glorify him it is something done by some heretics and innovator (bidati) as Yazeed had such qualities that those who love and praise him deserves what Yazeed deserves means losing the faith because loving for the sake of Allah and having hate for the sake of Allah is from the part of faith...

Hikmah of the hardships that befell upon Hasan عليه السلام and Hussain عليه السلام

Imam Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ said regarding the hardships and trials faced by Hasan عليه السلام and Hussain عليه السلام that.


 ولما كان الحسن والحسين سيدا شباب أهل الجنة، وكانا قد ولدا بعد الهجرة في عز الإسلام، ولم ينلهما من الأذي والبلاء ما نال سلفهما الطيب، فأكرمهما الله بما أكرمهما به من الإبتلاء، ليرفع درجاتهما.وذلك من كرامتهما عليه لا من هوانهما عنده، كما أكرم حمزة عليا وجعفرا وعمر وعثمان وغيرهم بالشهادة


Since Hasan and Hussain were the leaders of the youth of Jannah, and were born after the Hijrah in the period of the domination of Islam, they did not face the difficulties and hardships that the righteous people faced before them. (the Sahaba who saw the difficulties of the Meccan period) therefore Allah Azzawajal bestowed favors on (Hasan and Hussain) as He willed and wished, through trials so that the ranks of both of them may be elevated.


And that was out of their honor and respect and not out of their disgrace, just as Allah honored Hamza رضیﷲ عنه, Ali رضیﷲ عنه, Syedna Jafar رضیﷲ عنه, Umar رضیﷲ عنهand Usman رضیﷲ عنه through Shahadah

Raas Al Hussain (Head of hussain) is the book of Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ it might be also available in urdu, read this book and you will get to know how and who killed Hussain عليه السلام and who did blasphemy by moving the severed head of Hussain عليه السلام, in this book Shaikh ul Islam described the incident of Karbala.

Muslims rejoiced over the Victory of Romans (Christians) when they defeated Persians (Idolaters).

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ بَدْرٍ ظَهَرَتْ الرُّومُ عَلَى فَارِسَ فَأَعْجَبَ ذَلِكَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَنَزَلَتْ غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ فِي أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِن بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَالَ فَفَرِحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِظُهُورِ الرُّومِ عَلَى فَارِسَ

Abu Sa’id رضیﷲ عنه reported: On the day of the battle of Badr, the Romans were victorious  over the Persians and the believers were pleased by that. Allah had revealed, “The Romans were defeated in the nearest land, but they will be victorious after their defeat in a few years. To Allah belongs the matter before and after, and on that day the believers will rejoice,” (30:1-4). Thus, the believers rejoiced at the victory of the Romans over the Persians.

-Sunan Tirmidhi 2935, Al Albani رحمہ اللہ graded it Sahih.

These Ayat were revealed about the victory of Sabur, the king of Persia, over Ash-Sham (Greater Syria), the adjoining partisan states of the Arabian Peninsula, and the outlying regions of the land of the Romans.

Heraclius, the emperor of the Romans, was forced to flee to Constantinople where he was besieged for a lengthy period. Then Heraclius regained the upper hand. (the Persians were victorious during the first stages of the war, capturing much of the Egypt, Levant and even Anatolia. However, the coming to power of Heraclius ultimately drove to the Persians downfall.)

Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه commented on this ayah and said:

The idolators wanted the Persians to prevail over the Romans, because they were idol worshippers, and the Muslims wanted the Romans to prevail over the Persians, because they were People of the Book.

Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ said, 

لَيْسَ الْعَاقِلُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ الْخَيْرَ مِنْ الشَّرِّ وَإِنَّمَا الْعَاقِلُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ خَيْرَ الْخَيْرَيْنِ وَشَرَّ الشَّرَّيْنِ

“The intelligent one is not he who knows good and evil. Rather, the intelligent one is only he who knows the better of two goods or the worst of two evils.”

A Forgotten Sunnah!

A rarely known Sunnah amongst the Muslims, yet part of the practice of our beloved Prophet, ﷺ. This forgotten Sunnah is revived by Shaykh Muqbil ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee, رحمه الله.

It is reported by al-Husayn ibn ‘Ali, رضي الله عنهـما, that he said:

“My father ‘Ali called me to bring (water for) Wudhu, so I brought it to him, and he started by washing his hands three times before putting them into the water. Then he rinsed his mouth three times and sniffed water into his nose and blew it out three times. Then he washed his face three times, then his right hand up to the elbow three times, (and) then his left likewise. Then he wiped his head once, then he washed his right foot up to the ankle three times, then the left likewise.

Then he stood up and said: ‘Pass me the vessel.’ So I passed the vessel containing the remaining water for his Wudhu to him, and he drank from it standing up. I was surprised, and when he noticed that, he said: ‘Do not be surprised, for I saw your father, the Prophet, ﷺ, doing what you have seen me doing.’ (referring to his Wudhu and drinking the leftover water while standing).”

It was narrated that Abu Hayyah bin Qais said:

’Ali (رضي الله عنه) did wudoo’, each part three times, then he drank the left over water. Then he said: This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) do wudoo".

Musnad Ahmad 1273

Munkir (Denier) Of Awliya

Famous Hanafi and Shafai Sufi Aalim Shahabuddin Aalusi رحمہ اللہ said:

وقد قلت يوما لرجل يستغيث في شدة ببعض الأموات وينادي يا فلان أغثني فقلت له: قل يا الله فقد قال سبحانه: 

One day a person was invoking a "dead" for help saying, "Ya Fulan, Help me" and I said to him "Invoke Allah (ask Allah for Help)" because Allah himself said in Quran,

وَاذَا سَاَلَکَ عِبَادِیۡ عَنِّیۡ فَاِنِّیۡ قَرِیۡبٌ ؕ اُجِیۡبُ دَعۡوَۃَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِ.

"And when My servants ask you about Me, surely I am near. Whenever the caller calls on Me, I answer his dua (prayer)."  (Surat al Baqara: 186)

فغضب وبلغني أنه قال: فلان منكر على الأولياء.
After hearing this the person got angry and then I heard that he's saying about me that So and So is the Munkir of Awliya.

It shows when you ask the people of shirk to rely upon Allah, they will label you munkireen e awliya just like Barelvis and other sects do when you up upright them regarding tawheed.

Qisas Of Saydna Usman ‎رضیﷲ عنه

Ibn Abbas رضیﷲ عنه said:

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالُوا: ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا الصَّعْقُ بْنُ حَزْنٍ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، فَقَالَ: «§لَوْ أَنَّ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَطْلُبُوا بِدَمِ عُثْمَانَ لَرُجِمُوا بِالْحِجَارَةِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ»

If people hadn't demanded or come forth for the Qisas of Saydna Usman رضیﷲ عنه then they would have faced the shower of stones from the sky upon them..

Allama Haythami said about this narration:

رواه الطبراني في الكبير والأوسط ورجال الكبير رجال الصحيح

Narrated By Tabarani in Al Kabir and Al Awsat and the Narrators (Rijaal) are Sahih.

Hafiz Ibn Hajar Asqalani رحمہ اللہ on Yazeed

 سئل شيخنا رحمه الله عن لعن يزيد بن معاوية وماذا يترتب على من يحبه ويرفع من شأنه فأجاب أما اللعن فنقل فيه الطبري المعروف بالكيا الهراسي الخلاف في المذاهب الأربعة في الجواز وعدمه فاختار الجواز ونقل الغزالي الخلاف واختار المنع

وأما المحبة فيه والرفع من شأنه فلا تقع إلا من مبتدع فاسد الاعتقاد فإنه كان فيه من الصفات ما يقتضي سلب الإيمان عمن يحبه لأن الحب في الله والبغض في الله من الإيمان والله المستعان

I asked my shaykh Rahimullah regarding cursing Yazeed bin Muawiyah and about loving him, he replied Tabari (rah) quoted four schools of thought (regarding cursing or loving yazeed) and they differed in it, and his(Tabari) final verdict was it is permitted (to curse), But (Imam) Ghazali (rah) went against this stance and choosed the prohibiton.
Loving and glorifying him (Yazid) is not done except by an innovator who has void belief because he (Yazid) had such characteristics that his lover deserves to be faithless, because to love and hate just for the sake of God is a sign of faith.

Defending "Yazid" is Nasibiyat (the term refers to the haters of Ahle bayt).

Shaikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ explained the definition of Nasibiyat.


ولهذا اتفق أهل السنة والجماعة على رعاية حقوق الصحابة والقرابة، وتبرّؤوا من الناصبة الذين يكفّرون علي بن أبي طالب ويفسّقونه، وينتقصون بحرمة أهل البيت؛ مثل من كان يعاديهم على الملك، أو يعرض عن حقوقهم الواجبة، أو يغلو في تعظيم يزيد بن معاوية بغير الحق


Therefore, the Ahlus Sunnah wal jamah agrees on the protection of the rights of the Companions and the relatives of Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, and hate those Nawasib who disbelieve in Ali ibn Abi Talib رضیﷲ عنه and make takfeer on him and call him Fasiq and try to find faults in the sanctity of Ahle bait. Like they had enmity with the Ahle bayt in regards to hukumat, or to show disagreement or carelessness of the rights of Ahlul bayt which were obligatory on them, or "making unjust unrightful exaggeration (ghulu) in praise and love of Yazid ibn Muawiya".

Daughter of Suhail bin Amru and Hasan عليه السلام.

 

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، نا حَجَّاجٌ، نا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ فِتْيَةً مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ خَطَبُوا بِنْتَ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَخَطَبَهَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ فَشَاوَرَتْ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَانَ لَنَا صَدِيقًا فَقَالَ: أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ «§رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُ فَاهُ فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتِ إِنْ تُقَبِّلِي مُقَبَّلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَافْعَلِي فَتَزَوَّجْتُهُ» .

Ali bin zayd رحمہ اللہ  reported that some youngsters from Quraish gave the marriage proposal to the daughter of Suhail bin Amru and Saydna Hasan عليه السلام sent the proposal too. And then Hasan عليه السلام consulted this to Abu huraira رضیﷲ عنه as Abu huraira رضیﷲ عنه was his friend so on the behalf of Hasan عليه السلام, Abu huraira talked to the daughter of Suhail and said to her: I saw Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم kissing the face of Hasan عليه السلام and if you're capable and if you like to kiss Hasan عليه السلام where Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had kissed him then marry him, after hearing this Daughter of Suhail bin Amru married Hasan عليه السلام.

Importance of Salah

 

Imam Dhahabi رحمہ اللہ said after mentioning two Asaneed:


في الإسنادين ضعف من جهة زاهر وعمر؛ لإخلالهما بالصلاة


In these two Asaneed the Zahir and Umar are daeef and they're daeef because they don't perform salah.

Moustache Of Saydna Umar Ibn Al Khattab رضى اللٰه عنه


It is proven that `Umar (radhiallahu anhu) had a long moustache and he used to twist it as well.

 “ اذإ ناك هبراش لتف بضغ “

 This is authentically narrated in Imaam Ahmad’s Kitaab ul-`Ilal wa Ma`rifatur Rijaal (2/73- 1589)30; Tabraani’s Mu`jam al-Kabeer 

But at the same time it is proven that `Abdullah ibn `Umar used to trim his moustache so thin that his skin used to be seen as the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded to trim it Now the better stance is to not trim it completely or fully and using a razor or shaving the moustache completely is not proven from the Prophet, the Sahaaba, Taba`een but we can find this act among the Taba Taba`een such as Sufyaan ibn Uyaynah (rahimahullah) – an esteemed muhaddith of Makkah – but it is better to not shave it completely, rather trimming is better.

Sayyida Sana bint Asmaa as Salmiyah رضي الله عنها

وحكى الرّشاطيّ عن بعضهم أن سبب موتها أنه لما بلغها بأنّ النبي صلّى اللَّه عليه وسلّم تزوّجها سرّت بذلك حتى ماتت من الفرح


She was one of the female companion of Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to whom Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم had married but before the time of Rukhsati she died. It has been said that she died out of happiness that Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم approached her for marriage.

Virtues of Daughters and Sisters in Islam.

 Uqbah ibn Amir رضیﷲ عنه narrated


قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُكْرِهُوا الْبَنَاتِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ الْمُؤْنِسَاتُ الْغَالِيَاتُ


The Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, “Do not hate your daughters, for they are your precious companions.”

Jabir ibn Abdullah رضیﷲ عنه narrated


قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كُنَّ لَهُ ثَلَاثُ بَنَاتٍ يُؤْوِيهِنَّ وَيَرْحَمُهُنَّ وَيَكْفُلُهُنَّ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ الْبَتَّةَ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ اثْنَتَيْنِ قَالَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ اثْنَتَيْنِ قَالَ فَرَأَى بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ أَنْ لَوْ قَالُوا لَهُ وَاحِدَةً لَقَالَ وَاحِدَةً


The Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, “Whoever has three daughters and he cares for them, he is merciful to them, and he clothes them, then Paradise is certainly required for him.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, what if he has only two?” 


The Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, “Even two.” Some people thought that if they had said to him one, the Prophet would have said even one.

Abu Said Al Khudri رضیﷲ عنه narrated:


 رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَكُونُ لِأَحَدٍ ثَلَاثُ بَنَاتٍ أَوْ ثَلَاثُ أَخَوَاتٍ أَوْ ابْنَتَانِ أَوْ أُخْتَانِ فَيَتَّقِي اللَّهَ فِيهِنَّ وَيُحْسِنُ إِلَيْهِنَّ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ


The Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said, “There is not one of you with three daughters or three sisters, or two daughters or two sisters, fearing Allah regarding them and treating them in the best manner, but that he will enter Paradise.”

Sayyidah Aisha, رضي الله عنها the wife of Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:


أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ جَاءَتْنِي امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا ابْنَتَانِ لَهَا فَسَأَلَتْنِي فَلَمْ تَجِدْ عِنْدِي شَيْئًا غَيْرَ تَمْرَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَأَعْطَيْتُهَا إِيَّاهَا فَأَخَذَتْهَا فَقَسَمَتْهَا بَيْنَ ابْنَتَيْهَا وَلَمْ تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا ثُمَّ قَامَتْ فَخَرَجَتْ وَابْنَتَاهَا فَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَحَدَّثْتُهُ حَدِيثَهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ مِنَ الْبَنَاتِ بِشَىْءٍ فَأَحْسَنَ إِلَيْهِنَّ كُنَّ لَهُ سِتْرًا مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏


A woman came to me along with her two daughters. She asked me for (charity) but she found nothing with me except one date, so I gave her that. She accepted it and then divided it between her two daughters and herself ate nothing out of that. She then got up and went out, and so did her two daughters. (In the meanwhile) Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم visited me and I narrated to him her story. Thereupon Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: He who is involved (in the responsibility) of (bringing up) daughters, and he accords benevolent treatment towards them, there would be protection for him against Hell-Fire.

Sayyidah Aisha رضي الله عنهاnarrated that Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:


عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْبَنَاتِ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِنَّ كُنَّ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ 


Whoever is tried with something from daughters, and he is patient with them, they will be a barrier from the Fire for him."

Importance of Rafa Yadain in the eyes of Imam Ahlus sunnah Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمہ اللہ.

Imam Ahle Sunnah Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمہ اللہ said:

"The prayer of one who prays with Rafa Yadain is more complete than that person who does not do Rafa Yadain, and whoever leaves it, turns away from the Sunnah of the Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم."

 Abdullah bin Ahmad رحمہ اللہ said : I asked my father:

A person who's a Hafiz does not do Rafa Yadain and the other one does it but he is not Hafiz of the Qur'an, then who sould we make our Imam to lead our prayers?


 He رحمہ اللہ said:

"Whoever memorized the quran more should lead you in prayers, of course, and he also should perform Rafa Yadain as it is the Sunnah of Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم

This issue is related to the fact that the person who does not perform Rafa Yadain has a sound and correct beliefs and deeds, moreover the locality where Rafa Yadain has not been performed by the Bidati and Grave worshippers as it is a sign of them that they do not perform Rafa Yadain then one should not make imam from one of them to lead the prayer even if he's an aalim of Quran. 


Saleh ibn Ahmad رحمہ اللہ said:


I asked my father, if a person is at a place where the deniers of Rafa Yadain are accusing him of Being Shia Rawafidh then is it permissible to leave Rafa yadain there?


 He رحمہ اللہ replied:

"Don't give up at all, but explain them softly and gently."

Imam Abu Dawud رحمہ اللہ narrates: I heard Imam Ahmad رحمہ اللہ when he was asked that if a person hears the hadiths of the Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم regarding Rafa Yadain even then he does not perform Rafa Yadain in Salah so is his Prayer is complete?


He رحمہ اللہ replied:


"I don't know if prayer is complete or perfect, but I think such a person is follower of his desires (Ahlul hawa).

Father of the poor and Mother of the poor

 

Ummul Momineen Zaynab bint Khuzaimah رضي الله عنها was known for her generosity towards the needy and feeding the poor people due to this, people used to call her " Ummul Masakeen" meaning "Mother of the poor"

Likewise Saydna Jafar ibn Abi Talib رضیﷲ عنه was known for his kindness and gentleness towards the poor people because of it he got a name "Abul Masakeen" meaning "father of the poor"

A Companion رضیﷲ عنه who resembles Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.

Saydna Saeed Bin Aas رضیﷲ عنه was from one of the four whom Saydna Usman عليه السلام appointed to compile the Qur'an in one mus'haf, it was known about him that:

  انَ أَشْبَهَ النَّاسُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ 

"He resembles the most to Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم in accent and the way of talking".

Adding Dhikr of Allah after saying Aameen

 قال الشافعي ) وقول آمين يدل على أن لا بأس أن يسأل العبد ربه في الصلاة كلها في الدين والدنيا مع ما يدل من السنن على ذلك ( قال الشافعي ) ولو قال مع : آمين رب العالمين وغير ذلك من ذكر الله كان حسنا لا يقطع الصلاة شيء من ذكر الله


❝If one was to add "Yaa Rabbal 'alamīn" after "amīn" (after surat al fatiha) then that is good because salah is NEVER nullified by a dhikr of Allāh ❞

That was the giant Imam Ash Shafiee رحمه الله for you. By today's modern standards of tabdee', many overzealous folks would consider this is an innovation.

This also validates that we can also say "Aameen" With the addition of "Ya Rabbul Aalameen"  after the dua.

Acceptance of Islam of a Disbeliever on his own terms.

 

-عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ «عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَسْلَمَ عَلَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاتَيْنِ فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ.» رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَفِي لَفْظٍ آخَرَ لَهُ: عَلَى أَنْ لَا يُصَلِّيَ إلَّا صَلَاةً فَقَبِلَ مِنْهُ


Nasr bin Aasim al laythi رضیﷲ عنه said:From One of them has accepted islam on a condition that he will perform two prayers (instead of five obligatory) Hence, Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم accepted his condition

Shaikh al Albani رحمہ اللہ said in the explanation of this hadith that it is valid for the Ruler to accept the Islam of a Disbeliever even if his condition is not to perform 5 obligatory prayers.

-عَنْ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: «سَأَلْت جَابِرًا عَنْ شَأْنِ ثَقِيفٍ إذْ بَايَعَتْ، فَقَالَ اشْتَرَطَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ لَا صَدَقَةَ عَلَيْهَا وَلَا جِهَادَ، وَأَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَقُولُ: سَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ وَيُجَاهِدُونَ»


Wahb Said: I asked Jabir رضیﷲ عنه regarding the matters of banu Thaqif that had they embraced Islam? then Jabir رضیﷲ عنه replied they embraced Islam on the condition that they won't pay Zakat and won't take part in Jihaad and When Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم heard these terms, He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said Indeed they would soon pay Zakat and would also take part in Jihaad, when they embrace the Islam.

-عَنْ أَنَسٍ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: أَسْلِمْ، قَالَ: أَجِدُنِي كَارِهًا، قَالَ: أَسْلِمْ وَإِنْ كُنْت كَارِهًا»


Anas رضیﷲ عنه reported that Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to a person, Accept the Islam so that person replied It's hard on my heart to do it then Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said to him accept Islam even if you dislikes it..(not having satisfaction completely)

Imam Ibn Taymiyah رحمہ اللہ included these hadiths under the chapter


بَابُ صِحَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ مَعَ الشَّرْطِ الْفَاسِدِ

"Correctness of Islam under invalid terms and Conditions".


Imam Ash Shawkani writes in the commentary under this Chapter:


هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ فِيهَا دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنَّهُ يَجُوزُ مُبَايَعَةُ الْكَافِرِ وَقَبُولُ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْهُ وَإِنْ شَرَطَ شَرْطًا بَاطِلًا، وَأَنَّهُ يَصِحُّ إسْلَامُ مَنْ كَانَ كَارِهًا.

"These hadiths are proof on bayt of a Disbeliever and accepting his Islam even his conditions are not valid and his acceptance of Islam is sahih even though if he dislikes it".

Hakeem Bin Hazaam رضیﷲ عنه reported that I gave bayah to Rasool صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم that I will lay myself direct after Qiyam

Imam Ahmad رحمہ اللہ explained it's meaning

 معناه أن يسجد من غير ركوع


"will do the sajdah without rukoo" (falling into sajdah directly without rukoo)


Ibn Rajab hanbali رحمہ اللہ said: 


وأخذ الإمام أحمد بهذه الأحاديث وقال : يصح الإسلام على الشرط الفاسد ، ثم يلزم بشرائع الإسلام كلها۔


"Imam Ahmad رحمہ اللہ made istedlal from these hadiths that it is correct to accept the Islam of a Disbeliever on invalid terms and post acceptance of Islam he starts to follow the Islam completely".
